yah i’ll be getting braces sometime… you think spacers are bad? try these:

im SUPPOSED TO wear the bottom one during the day bcuz its easier 2 talk w/, and the top one at night.  where that big hulking thing all day?  yah rite!  and i occasionally wear the clear one at night.  every time i go see my orthodontist, i make up some story about losing one or the other, or maybe forget 1 by ACCIDENT.  and all to fix this smile:

don’t see anything wrong w/ that, except that my lower jaw is a little bit misaligned.

but honestly, who would notice if i didnt go highlighting it in red?

Ouchies…

*Groan* I’m getting braces in 2 weeks….yippee.

Today I went to the dentist, who put spacers (which are basically small bands that they jam between your teeth to make “space”) in. They said it would be painless and would take 5 minutes at the most.

5 minutes? Yep.

Painless? OMG, not even close!

It’s been 7 and a half hours, and my mouth is in a  state of agony. The worst part is that I’m starving, but can’t eat cause it hurts to chew. I can’t even bite down.

And to think, I get to repeat this thrilling experience every 4 weeks. Aren’t I lucky?
